Start off your day with your daily routine. Daily routines should consist of the same things everyday. See what I mentioned in my first lesson plan. For the next few weeks we will be talking about Christmas, Christmas trees, and snowman. Talk to your child about why they like Christmas?
Visual Arts: Make a tree. You will need, 3 different sized construction green triangles, markers, and/or stickers. Put the triangles together to make a Christmas tree, and then have your child decorate the tree with markers. If you have small stickers have your child use them as ornaments for their tree. Then put a star on top of the tree. (Make sure your child doesn’t put the stickers in their mouths.)
Math: Count the dots on the tree. You will need a piece of green construction paper cut out as a large triangle, and markers. Write the numbers vertical on the tree. If your child is older cut the numbers horizontally and have them put it back together in order. If your child is younger put dots for each number and help them count the dots.
Language: Snowman name chain. You will need, circled white construction paper (with each letter of your child’s name), markers, any colored construction paper for the hat. Have your child trace the letters on the snowman while they say the letters out loud, have them draw a face on the snowman, and decorate the hat.
